awe struck by the part the Canal played
in the war. I witnessed the Pacific fleet coming through the canal after the
war and General Eisenhower and Admiral

Comments Wow, I was just looking up something else and stumbled onto the Canal Zone Brats site. I didn't know there was such a thing! We lived in Balboa from 1957 to 1959. I was 2 when we got there and 4 when we left. It is amazing how much I remember! My father worked for Tecon who had been hired to widen the locks. I will have to go gather my thoughts so the names and places will come back to me. Haven't thought about it in years! I'll be back! Joe Wasson

Hello. I am the daughter of Annie E. Pearre Webb and E. Norman Webb and granddaughter of John E. Pearre. They lived in the CZ in the 20's, 30's and 40's. They attended Balboa Baptist Church. I'm trying to get information on their lives in the CZ. Mother was a 1934 graduate of Balboa High School. She became a Registered Nurse and while working in a hospital there. She and my father, E. Norman Webb, met at the church while he was stationed there during WWII. He left after the war and she later followed him and they were married in Missouri.
If anyone knew the Pearres and/or Mother and Father, I'd love to hear your story.
