Comments Just got back from a transit of the Gatun Locks on the ms Rotterdam (Holland America). Took the Panama City tour. Things have really changed since I was stationed at Howard AFB in 1970-71. Some parts for the better, some for the worse. Still love it there.
Met Panama City born and breed Lori Snow and her husband on board. She gave a wonderful and informative 4 lecture series on the Canal and the Zone.

Hope to return again someday, but sooner this time.

Comments I just wanted to email my current information. My wife (Kelli) and I live just north of Atlanta in Powder Springs, GA and we operate a small business. We have 2 boys Chaz (7yrs) and Aidan (15 mo). The rest of the Giavelli Family live in the Charleston, SC area. My parents, Charlie and Ann, are doing fine and live in Summerville, SC as does my sister Nancy and family. My other sister Annie, family and brother Freddy and fiance live in North Charleston, SC. It's always a pleasure going to this website to read the stories and remembering the good old days. Keep up the good work. I'm glad you did away with those annoying pop up ads!!

Comments WE WERE THE ORIGINAL C.Z.BRATS. WE MOVED TO MARGARITA IN MARCH OF 1941. MY DAD WORKED ON THE THIRD LOCKS. I HAVE 2 BROTHERS AND 3 SISTERS. WE WERE THE PEVEY KIDS. MARGARITA WAS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION WHEN WE ARRIVED. NO SCHOOL OR HOSPITAL. THE CLUBHOUSE PARKING LOT WAS A SWAMP WITH A BOARDWALK OVER THE TOP.WE PLAYED LEAP FROG OVER THE PALM TREES PLANTED ON THE SIDE OF THE STREETS. WENT BACK FOR A VISIT IN 1951 AND THE PALMS WERE VERY TALL. WE HAD MOVED HOME TO CALIF. IN 1944. IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE EXCEPT FOR THE WAR. VERY SCARY.

Comments Hello everyone, My name is Nicolette Bell and my father Carlton (C.B.) Bell BHS '74 passed away Wednesday, April 7th.
