We're heading to Panama in November for an annual rock music awards ceremony where Evan will be receiving an achievement award for his contributions to the Panama rock music scene. Comments I lived in the Canal Zone from the time I was 5 until 16 - my folks retired to Florida after my sophomore year but I went to elementary schools in Gamboa, Diablo, Balboa, Los Rios plus Curundu Jr High and BHS 10th grade. Comments Lived @ BLDG 38 Albrook, 79-82 attended Diablo Elm and CJHS. I always like to hear from folks, while my memory is still good. Swam on CIN swim team, played football, soccer, baseball and was always up to mischief. I still fear the hill behind the Albrook football field, where I paid penitence for my evil deeds, LOL, Banana Tree Tackle Dummies! Did anyone else get a Zot from Mr. Pylint @ CJHS, "ZOT Hoxworth".

What ever happened to the Boy Scouts at Albrook, in particular, Nathan who was bit by a 12 foot Boa at JOTC (Ft. Sherman), and stabbed by another scout @ gamboa...and Terry Edwards who lost his eyelashes and most of his clothes in blaze by the clayton test range (damn flares, LOL). I still miss the tasty eggs we would make over open fire and exploding M16 blanks. Nelson Delgado, the best scout I ever met, smiled through all the insanity and helped me grow up. I hope Our 30 foot tripod still stands in the jungle...can someone please find a picture of that tripod built by Albrook Scouts sometime between 80-82. I remember seeing pictures of it in the troop archive and Nelson Delgado's family may have one?
