El Barco

As some of you may know, Panama is building a highway (tollway -- being done by a Mexican company) from Paitilla to Tocuman Airport out over the bay. It is pretty much complete now. The problem is, the guy with the boat didn't get it out in time ... or so the story goes. From what I was told, they are now going to have to dismantle the ship and remove it in pieces. This photo was taken from Old Panama where the National Guard had their barracks -- right by the old cathedral.
